One of the most picturesque weddings of the month was that of Miss Edna Vera McNiven, only daughter of James D. McNiven, Deputy Minister of Labor, and Mrs. McNiven, of 601 Cook Street, who was married last night to James Alexander McMillan, son of the late John McMillan, B.C., and Mrs. McMillan, of Vancouver. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.G. Inkster at the First Presbyterian Church at 8:30, in the presence of a large congregation of interested friends of the popular young couple. . . . The bride . . . was given away by her father. . . . Mrs. Lillian Clark, of Vancouver [was] maid of honor. . . . Miss Lillian Revell and Miss Irene Gardner, of Vancouver, were the bridesmaids . . . Mr. Joe McMillan, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. . . . Mr. and Mrs. McMillan left by the midnight boat for the Mainland, where the honeymoon will be spent.

The wedding of Miss Edna McNiven, daughter of Mr. J.D. McNiven, deputy minister of labor, and Mrs. McNiven of Victoria, and Mr. James Alexander McMillan, of this city, was solemnized at the First Presbyterian church, Victoria, on Thursday evening. Miss McNiven was attended by Miss Lilian Revell, Miss Irene Gardner and Miss Lilian Clark, all of Vancouver, who left for Victoria on Wednesday morning.
